update on the update: WHOA! Just hit the $125,000 stretch goal right before we posted this and I just noticed it now! Awesome!

NEW STRETCH GOALS and NEW ADD ON!
The last week has been SLOW because we launched SO BIG... and then I went off to Origins and we lost momentum. Let's see if we can KICK THINGS INTO HIGH GEAR this last week.
1. We are going to make stretch goals at $2,500 and $5,000 instead of $10,000!
2. We are going to introduce a new add-on, and I hope you will consider getting it... The Heavy Weapons Upgrade Pack.
To get the Heavy Weapons Upgrade Pack, just add $15 to your order for 1 pack, or $30 for 2 packs.
The new Powered Armor sculpt, with left-handed Rocket Launcher, detachable shoulder-mount, and 3 heavy weapons!
Why can't the Heavy Weapons pack come with the game for free?
I would have loved to introduce this as a stretch goal, but the new pack adds cost to the game so I decided to make it an add-on and hope you guys accept this idea, and help us hit those stretch goals.
If 500 people get this add-on then we'll bowl over these new stretch goals.

Back From Origins!

Dashing off to Origins during the Kickstarter campaign isn't ideal for communications but it gave me the opportunity to do some press including a BGG livestream.
I was able to only occasionally pop in here and check in. The phone app isn't nearly as useful as the desktop.
Before Origins at Battlestations Gigantic
Battlestations - action is about to begin!
Highlights of Origins:
Playing Battlestations and Battlestations:Dirtside with the fans and the Fleetwood boys.
Bryan Daniels retired "Hex" his rank 13 Battlestations character in a farewell ceremony that was well attended by the zombies of everybody he has ever killed in a crossover Dirtside/Battlestations mission. In retrospect, I should have added the end of the world and lava to the dirtside portion as they found running over the zombies all too easy in the heavy lifters.
Seeing industry luminaries/friends such as but not limited to: Neal Sofge and son Carlos, Matt Eklund, Kenneth Hite, Michael Matecha and daughter, the Bostwicks, David Gadaisz, Richard, Greg, Andy, Allen and the hard core Battlestations Gigantic crew. I hate making a list like this off the top of my head because I saw literally dozens of people and these are the ones who come to mind at 1:30 am after a long travel day back.
Meeting new Battlestations fans. Every year, there is somebody who starts out asking "What is this?" and ends up a rabid fan before it is all over. Either you want to be a hero or you want to play a different game. I'm glad we attract the heroes.
Now that I'm back, Joey and I will be posting more content videos discussing the game and the campaign and anything and everything that you guys want to hear about. Crowdsourcing is about community involvement so don't be shy about suggesting missions or asking questions!
Now, I'm going to sleep a bit before responding to 439 emails. (okay most of those emails are probably people spamming me about a kickstarter so I'll just delete them).

We're doing better than almost any other indie game on Kickstarter right now, and it's a crowded market! So thank you so much for all the sharing. Let's keep it up.
The Hotness!
We're trending on Board Game Geek due to the contest and the new images we uploaded! Currently Battlestations is #20 and Dirtside is #21. But BGG only shows the top 15 on the homepage with images. And we are not yet in the top 15.
Click on Images and then click the thumbs-up for EVERY image on both pages, and leave a "cool" or similar comment on every image
If you have any images for Battlestations then please upload them all, so there's more stuff for each other to like.

Please keep this Kickstarter chugging along with comments and discussions over the next two weeks. Anything to keep up momentum - it is helpful when new people see an active page. Post weird silly stuff, anything you want.
Towers UNLOCKED!
We hit the stretch goal to add an extra strip of tower tiles and buildings to the game. These extra tiles may not seem like much, but they add a lot of gameplay value, including millions of additional possible planet configurations.
Those of you already getting the 3D buildings pack won't need to get too jazzed about this since you already have even cooler buildings coming your way. But more tiles is always good!
When we get to $140k the really awesome stretch goals begin. Soon I'll be revealing some new images of what is to come. YESSSSSS!!!!
Changes to the Kickstarter Page
We made a few minor changes to the page - we simplified the video for the benefit of the international gamers who had trouble with all the blah blah blah. (The old video is still available lower on the page.)
We also added more information about Battlesations Second Edition at the top of the page, since more than half of the people who come to our page are not familiar with Battlestations.
Finally, we added a $89 pledge tier for Battlestations only. (Note that if you add a copy of Dirtside onto this tier, the Dirtside add-on will be $99, since only a second copy of Dirtside gets the $9 discount.)
